Can I recover deleted iMessages from IOS devices and MacBook Pro

The only way to recover from the iOS device is if you have a backup of the device while the message was on it. Then you could restore to that backup. I'm not sure about the Mac, as I am not a Mac user.

If you wipe your iPad with the reset function, the text messages should be unrecoverable. However, if you are very paranoid you should reset it, then fill it to bursting with apps, then wipe it again, they should be unrecoverable even from jailbreak recovery solutions and the like, since it will be overwritten with data.
